The working principle of leaf spring

When the leaf spring is installed in the automobile suspension, the vertical load is positive, the spring sheet is deformed by force and tends to arch upward. When the bridge and frame are far away from each other, the forward vertical load and deformation of leaf springs are gradually reduced, and sometimes even reversed.
In order to improve the stress of the main piece, the end of the second piece is often bent into the ear, wrapped in the outside of the main piece, called the ear wrap. In order to make it possible for each piece to slide relatively during elastic deformation, a large gap is left between the main piece and the second piece of lug. Some suspension in the leaf spring ends do not make a coil lug, and the use of other support connection, such as rubber support pad.
The flat rectangular steel plate is curved, with a number of stacked chassis with a spring, one end is installed in the condole frame with a tip, the other end is connected to the beam with a hanging lug, so that the spring can be telescopic. At present, it is suitable for some non-bearing body of hard-sent off-road vehicles and passengers/trucks.

Thickness from 20-30mm.We use material 50CRVA
Thickness more than 30mm. We use material 51CRV4
Thickness more than 50mm. We choose 52CrMoV4 as the raw material
2) Quchenging Process
We strickly controled the steel temeprure around 800 degree.
we swing the spring in the qenching oil among 10 seconds according to the spring thickness.
3)Shot Peening.
Each assmembing spring set under stress peening .
Fatigue test can reach over 150000 cycus
4) Electrophoretic paint
Each item use electrophoretic paint
Salt spray testing reach 500hours
